Less energy is used when a willow coffin is cremated, and, as they are fully biodegradable, willow coffins tend to decompose far faster than its traditional counterparts.
The Bamboo Coffin
Made from a kind of bamboo that is not eaten by pandas and is grown specifically for this purpose, these coffins complete our range of environmentally friendly alternatives to solid wood caskets.
They are made using traditional carpentry and basket weaving techniques to produce a result that is as robust as it is elegant.
